No uploads. No account. Your audio stays on your device.
How to use it
Add your files
Drop songs or a whole album folder onto the page, or choose them from your device. Existing tags are read straight away.
Edit one track or many
Select a track to edit it in the side panel. Select several and shared fields such as album, year and genre change together; fields that differ show as Mixed until you set them.
Check the health scan
VaultedAudio lists what is missing or inconsistent, and offers a one-click fix when the right answer is obvious.
Export
Download a ZIP, save straight into a folder, or share the files from your phone. Exports are new files; your originals are never modified.
What it does
- Every tag that matters
- Title, artist, album, album artist, track and disc numbers, year, genre, composer, copyright, comment, explicit flag, lyrics and cover art.
- No quality loss
- Tags are written as ID3v2.3 around the existing audio. The music itself is not re-encoded, so it stays byte-for-byte the same.
- Undo anything
- Every edit can be undone while you work, including bulk changes across a whole album.
Common questions
Does editing tags change the audio quality?
No. Only the tag data at the start of the file is rewritten. The encoded audio is carried over untouched, so the exported song sounds exactly the same.
Can I edit several MP3s at once?
Yes. Select as many tracks as you like and set album, album artist, year, genre, artwork and other shared fields in one go. Individual titles are left alone.
Which ID3 version is written?
ID3v2.3, the version with the widest support across players, phones, car stereos and Windows. Tag data the editor doesn't manage, such as ReplayGain values, is carried over.
