VaultedAudio

Album builder

Take a pile of loose tracks and make them one album: drag them into order, let the numbering follow, set the cover, export a folder.

Drop tracks to build an albumPick files from your device

No uploads. No account. Your audio stays on your device.

How to use it

  1. Add your files

Drop songs or a whole album folder onto the page, or choose them from your device. Existing tags are read straight away.

  2. Put the tracks in order

Drag tracks into place, or use the move up and move down buttons. Track numbers update to match the order as you go.

  3. Set the album details

Give the album its title, artist, year, genre and cover once. They are applied to every track in it.

  4. Export the album folder

You get a folder named after the artist and album, with numbered files inside and, if you want them, the cover image and a playlist file.

What it does

Order first, numbers follow
You never type track numbers. Arrange the list and each track gets its number and the album's track total.
One set of album tags
Album, album artist, year, genre and artwork are set in one place, which is what makes players group the tracks as a single album.
Ready for your player
The exported folder works with any app that reads local files, including Spotify's Local Files and Apple's Music app, using their own import features.

Common questions

Can I reorder tracks without dragging?

Yes. Each track has move up and move down buttons that work with a keyboard and on touch screens.

Does it handle multi-disc albums?

You can set a disc number for the tracks you are building. Build each disc in its own pass.

Will this add the album to Spotify or Apple Music?

Not directly. VaultedAudio prepares the folder; you add it with Spotify's Local Files setting or the Music app's import command.
